My 2010!!

Wow! Already 2010.. Remember when everyone was fretting Y2K? lol...
... So anyways I'm sure you all have already decided on your "new years resolution" right? *rolls eyes".. But the real question is.. How many of you will actually commit to it? How many of you are going to quit after 2 weeks.. oh and let me guess.. Is your new years resolutionnnnnnnn ---->"I'm gonna eat healthy (FAIL!).. umm.. I'm gonna work out..(FAIL!)" IS THIS YOU?? Forget about it!!! This is the same damn lame ass resolution you've been making for the past 10 years of your life, isn’t it!!?!???... The only way you can make it work is if you recognize the need to change and actually make an effort and a solid committment...

I, on the otherhand, have a 2010 AGENDA.. I have alot to accomplish and I work really well with "TO DO LISTS" so an AGENDA works for me.. I can plan and conquer. It's a list of things I HAVE to do not PLAN to do.. Now don't get me wrong... I have my list of goals and plans for the New Year.. but they are too cliche to even mention here.. Instead I'll just blog about them later!!! but for now here is the rough draft of my AGENDA:

January 1- Happy New Year .. BRING IT 2010-Ur girl is ready!
January 4- February 12- Working Full Time
January 18- May 16- School Full Time - Spring Semester 2010
January- May Complete Required Competency Exams for my Major at OSU
February 7- My Bday (woot woot!)
February 14- Vday
February 16- Me and My hubby's anniversary!
February 21- Hubby's Bday
May 13- Ty Bday
May 20- Graduate OSU-YUP I'M WALKIN THAT STAGE!! U thought I couldn't do it huh!
May 29- Travel to Louisiana to host my sister's Baby shower! Stoked! (our Godbaby)
June- Internship, Apply to Bachelor Program, Prepare for MOVE
July 21- Thiem Bday
July- Moving to ummm I don't know where (possibilites: Nevada, Hawaii and Pcola)
October- Dylan Bday

As you can see my year is "top heavy" because I have so much going on the first 6-7 months. With all the changes I'm not sure what the rest of the year will bring but I know it will be good.





The best advice I can give you all is stop whining, get off your butt and make things happen. I'm so tired of hearing "I can't b/c of the kids.. or I can't b/c I work all the time.." BS!!! Yup I rose the BS flag on all that! and I CAN b/c I've done it! I've been a single parent working full time and going to school full time.. with NO FAMILY support whatsover!! At 34 and after 8 year of military service I'm graduating - only the second person (HI 5 to JoAnn) in atleast 3 generations to get a degree from a UNIVERSITY (ok... ill include you tech school graduates too)... and I did it all WITH KIDS.. WHILE WORKING AND WITH MANY OBSTACLES!!! AND U CAN TOO... It only takes a little bit of "give a shit" and effort and commitment.. YOu can be that WIFE you've always wanted to be.. or that MOM that your kids deserve... Or even the DIVA you idolize on TV.. So ladies Put your Diva Panties on and Rock 2010!

My Wickless Scents

I began making my own wickless candles in October and I am still experimenting with scents, colors, and containers. I make them because I have always loved great home scents. Prior to making my own, I would buy fragrance oils from Bath and Body and use them in my oil warmer. As some of you might know, these little jars of fragrance can be quite expensive to keep up. They are 7.50 for a tiny jar that doesn't last me long at all.

I was very happy to share some of my wickless creations with my family over the holidays! As a matter of fact, I was wiped out of everything that I brought with me! So, I have decided to make more. I will be providing a variety of scents to choose from as well as containers and sizes. Although everyone has encouraged me to sell them, I will not be selling for profit but would simply require the cost to make the candle of your choice. This amount will be based on a total of the amount paid for dye, oil, wax, container, and the cost of shipment to your home.

Please check back later this week for a list of containers and fragrances that I will be offering. I will also post a bulletin to myspace as a reminder once the list is available. To request a price, you will simply choose the container type and size and the scent that you would like. FYI, I am doing this for friends and family ONLY!
